Your San Francisco Movers

two men and a truck professional company movers

Welcome to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Francisco! We are ecstatic to bring our high-quality moving services to San Francisco and surrounding areas. Our highly trained staff understands the importance of handling your items with utmost care and as always, just ask us, we will go above and beyond to put a smile on your face.

We opened our doors in September 2025 and have already performed over 100 moves in San Francisco. We are not new by any means, as we are an extension of our Santa Rosa office, and we bring the same high standards across San Francisco that we have been able to maintain in our original jurisdiction. As our Google reviews and move experience survey suggests, we have been very fortunate to perform high quality moves: thanks to the superior training of our colleagues and their dedication to moving. There is a certain level of skill set and precision required to perform moves in the Bay Area, and we have all the tools and techniques required to perform those moves. We would like to thank our customers and the community as a whole for putting tremendous trust with your moving needs. We understand that these moves are stressful and emotional, and our team will come fully prepared for any situation that the job throws at them.

SPRING MOVING TIPS- Busy Season is coming!

Spring is San Francisco's busiest moving season. To avoid last minute stress book your movers at least two weeks in advance to lock in your preferred date.

Book your move either on a Tuesday or Wednesday. It is easier to book Mid-week moves due to better availability.

To protect your move, we will come prepared, so your belongings stay safe no matter what.

Spring is also the perfect time to declutter your move which leads to less stuff, less time loading, and lower moving costs for you.

Avoid morning rush (6:30am - 9:00am) and evening rush (3:30pm to 6:00pm).

WAREHOUSE MOVES

Whether you're moving from a small warehouse or have a much larger job that requires multiple equipment pieces, we are here to cater to your needs. We have performed some of the largest, most complex warehouse moves in the Bay Area, and we should be able to handle any type of move whether your space is 500 square feet or 500,000 square feet.

LAB MOVES (Wet/Dry)

Whether it is moving fume hoods or moving materials from one place to the other, we have you covered. We can help you with moving and disposing any non-hazardous lab material, and we will do that at your convenience.

DESIGNER / STAGING MOVES

We can receive, store, inspect, and white-glove deliver furniture for stagers and interior designers to and from the listing home.

SENIOR TRANSITIONINGS

Downsizing support, packing to floor plans and thorough labeling, and coordination with family or senior communities to create a seamless experience for our wonderful seniors as well as their family members.

SMALL BUSINESS AND OFFICE RELOCATION

Our crew is trained in after-hours moves, they can also breakdown and rebuild workstation as long as there are no wires, and can label it in a IT-friendly manner to reduce downtime.

WE ARE THE EXPERTS

Moving in San Francisco comes with its own unique challenges both for our valued customers and our movers. Those challenges include narrow roads, narrow hallways, moving to/from high rise buildings, parking issues etc. Our experiences dealing with these challenges have taught us to navigate every challenge that comes with moving to and from San Francisco or within San Francisco. We frequently get calls that require us to disassemble murphy beds, hoist large couches that don't fit in narrow hallways, haul a 300 lb safe, transport piano whether it is upright or baby grand pianos and we always say yes to these unique moving circumstances that require specialized moving skill.

Why is it more costly to move yourself in the long term?

There are many reasons why moving yourself may seem reasonable at the time, but can cost you not only your time and money but your health as well. Here are some reasons why you shouldn't move yourself:

  1. Injury and health costs: The likelihood of injury increases if you don't lift furniture the right way
  2. Damage to Furniture: Our crew comes with complementary pads and shrink wrap and knows how to appropriately wrap your furniture. If you're not a professional mover and have never done anything like that, the technique used could backfire resulting in furniture damage.
  3. Direct Hidden Costs: There are direct hidden costs to moving yourself such as truck rental cost, fuel surcharges, packing materials, dollies and strap rental.
  4. Time: When you value your times at your actual hourly rate, the cheap do it yourself move often pencils out worse than paying out professionals.
  5. Stress: Do it yourself brings higher stress by having to coordinate with friends, parking, trucks, etc.

Moving in Summer? These tips will help you to enhance your move experience

Protect Yourself from the Heat

Make sure to keep plenty of water and light snacks on hand for yourself and your crew (while not necessary, they really appreciate it especially during challenging San Francisco moves). Also, never leave kids or pets in the car, even briefly.

Safeguard Heat-Sensitive Items

Electronics, candles, houseplants, and perishables are all vulnerable to heat damage inside a truck. Make sure to let the crew know about these items so that they can unload these items first when you arrive and get them into a climate-controlled space immediately. If you are packing it yourself, pack them last so they spend the least time in the heat.

Prep Before Moving Day

If our crew is not packing your belongings, please make sure to pack your entire home well ahead of time so moving day runs efficiently. Also, confirm with your local utility company that electricity, A/C, water are active at your new home on day one. Moreover, monitor the weather forecast leading up to your move to plan around extreme heat or rain.

HIGH RISE MOVERS

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK San Francisco has done hundreds of moves in high rise buildings in San Francisco and across the bay area. These moves often include a freight elevator and the restrictions and strict requirements that come with it. Depending on the size of the move, we understand the importance of bringing in the right number crew members to handle your move in an expeditious manner. Whether you are moving from a high rise in downtown San Francisco to your new single family home in the north bay or vice versa, we have you covered. Our crew will bring the necessary equipment to seamlessly handle your move in the most efficient manner as circumstances will allow.
