I believe that if an item is damaged or destroyed due to the handling by a moving company, or any individual for that matter, it is their responsability to pay for it. Asking customers to pay extra for potential mishandling of property is improper.
Part of the moving time is devoted to the contract and billing procedures. And when there is limited or low cellular connectivity, the clock is ticking on the customer; time which could be spent by both movers on packing up. I feel these contractual things could be outside of the $133. Though it did not negatively affect this particular move.
