Movers Who Care®

Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2022! Each year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK runs Movers for Moms®(opens in a new window), a collection drive to give women in shelters a special Mother's Day treat.  We at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK North Phoenix are collecting essential care items in our Movers for Moms® boxes around Phoenix. We will deliver the donated items to Chrysalis — a Phoenix-area non-profit helping those affected by domestic abuse — in time for Mother's Day! Help us make our 2022 collection drive a success! Check out Chrysalis' needed items, and drop off your donation at a collection location near you!

We appreciate all of our community partners in their support! Please contact us if you would like to help by hosting a collection box at your business, church, or organization. 

We greatly appreciate the service and sacrifice of our active military and their families. Many of them struggle financially, so we like to bring a little extra joy to them at holiday time. In conjunction with Arizona Military Assistance Mission (AZMAM)(opens in a new window) we partnered with over 100 local businesses to collect toys for children whose parents are stationed at Luke Air Force Base. With our help, AZMAM collected more than 10,000 toys for 1,500 children!

From now through October 31st, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® North Phoenix is running Movers for Meals®, a food drive benefiting Matthew's Crossing Food Bank(opens in a new window), a 501(c)3 non-profit charity serving the Phoenix area. The items collected will be used to provide Thanksgiving meals to local families in need. 

How you can help:

Help us make Thanksgiving better and brighter for local families in need!

This past September, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® North Phoenix teamed up with our Mesa sister franchise to donate labor and moving services to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in support of the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. Our team of movers and drivers helped by picking up and delivering donations from a local food chain, setting up barricades along the parade route, and other race-day tasks. This was no easy task as it began during the early morning hours on a weekend! We would like to thank all the participants who helped to raise money and awareness to this important cause, and we look forward to our participation again next year.

Chrisalis' mission statement is "Leading our community to broad-based solutions to prevent domestic abuse." With more than 1300 people being helped each year, Chrysalis is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic abuse by providing services, counseling and treatment to all family members, including the victim and the offender. Their range of programs and services vary from providing emergency shelter to long-term support.

The Military Assistance Mission (AZMAM) provides financial support and morale aid to current Arizona active duty military, their families, and wounded warriors regardless of overseas deployment status. AZMAM also provides work programs, assists with grants and organizes fundraisers like the annual Tour of Duty Ride. The toys form TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®'s annual Movers for Military toy drive are distributed at AZMAM's Operation Holiday Open House each December, where children at Luke Air Force Base are able to select items from the collection. For many of these kids, it's all they will receive for the holiday, and we are proud to be a part of it.

The Junior League of Phoenix is a women's organization committed to improving our community through volunteerism, education, and Community Impact Projects. By mentoring women in community outreach and providing volunteer training, they encourage and empower women to take on effective leadership roles within the community. We're happy to support the League by assisting them in their annual Indoor Garage Sale fundraiser.
