Your East Valley "Movers Who Care"® since 2001
One part of our role as the "Movers Who Care®" includes care for our community. In 2018, our location contributed over $30,000 worth of moving services and hundreds of hours of labor in support of the greater Phoenix community.
The 2022 Movers for Moms® supply drive is under way! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK of Mesa supports Chrysalis,(opens in a new window) a local nonprofit dedicated to assisting people impacted by domestic abuse. Please help us show the mothers of Chrysalis how much Phoenix cares! Donate needed items(opens in a new window) (such as conditioner, African American hair care products, new underwear [adult and children sizes], and sponges), and we will deliver them in time for Mother's Day! To find a collection point near you, check out our 2022 Movers for Moms Map.
Movers for Moms® wouldn't be possible without the support of our community partners. If your organization or business would like to help by hosting a donation box, please contact us.
In Fall 2017, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mesa organized Movers for Mutts(opens in a new window), a supply drive benefiting Friends For Life Animal Rescue(opens in a new window), a no-kill, volunteer-run animal shelter in Gilbert, Arizona. The rescue provides food, shelter, medical care, fostering, and adoption services to homeless dogs and cats in Gilbert, Mesa, and surrounding cities. We collected hundreds of donations and were able to provide the shelter with over 1,000 lbs. of dog and cat food, plus collars, leashes, bedding, cleaning supplies, and office products - items the shelter needs to run on a daily basis.
In February 2018, when Friends For Life moved to their new facility, we donated two trucks and four movers' labor for their move. We were happy to help them as they moved into their next chapter. If you're getting a new pet, please consider adopting from a no-kill animal shelter like Friends For Life!
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mesa greatly appreciates the service of our active military and their families! Many active military families struggle financially and we like to help bring a little extra joy to their families at holiday time.
Every fall we work with Arizona Military Assistance Mission (AZMAM)(opens in a new window) by partnering with local businesses to collect toys for children whose parents serve at Luke Air Force Base.
The collection had over 100 donation sites throughout Arizona, and with your help, MAM was able to obtain more than 10,000 toys to children at Luke Air Force Base this holday. In December, the kids were able to 'shop' for their new toys at a special holiday celebration held on-base for them and their families.
Each Fall, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mesa collects non-perishable food items for Matthew's Crossing Food Bank(opens in a new window), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving the East Valley. The food collected provides meals to local families in need for Thanksgiving. Thank you to everyone who donated in 2018!
Cats and dogs rescued by Friends for Life Animal Rescue(opens in a new window) often need extended care. Community donations help them provide things like veterinarian visits, surgeries, medication, and housing. Animals awaiting adoption have no time limit to find their adoptive homes; however, the shelter's goal is to find a permanent, lifetime, loving home for every animal in their care. Adopting a cat or dog from Friends for Life not only gives that animal a new lease on life, but also allows volunteers to rescue another cat or dog that may not have had a tomorrow. Friends for Life does not euthanize animals as a means of population control or convenience.
In February 2018, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mesa donated moving services to Friends for Life when they transferred to their new facility. We had four men and two trucks load various equipment, furniture, and supplies from their old home in downtown Gilbert, and unload everything into their brand new facility near Cooper & Baseline Roads in Gilbert. We're happy to have had the opportunity to support the community in this way!
AZMAM provides financial and morale aid to our current Arizona active duty military, their families, and wounded warriors regardless of overseas deployment status. Through generous and widespread public support and collaborative team of exceptional staff and volunteers, AZMAM aspires to become the provider of choice for emergency financial and morale assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors in Arizona.
For over 35 years, Chrysalis(opens in a new window) has been servicing the needs of women, children and men throughout the Valley who are trying to break the cycle of domestic violence and abuse. They take a 360-degree approach to the issue of abuse, working with the victim, the offender and the children.
UMOM’s mission is to prevent and end homelessness with innovative strategies and housing solutions that meet the unique needs of each familyand individual. UMOM is located in Phoenix, AZ and is the largest shelter for homeless families in the state. Every night they provide safe shelter and supportive services for over 170 families. The Salvation Army is a Christian church which is committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through both word and action. Because of this primary aim the Army shows practical concern and care for the needs of people regardless of race, creed, status, color, sex or age. We perform moves for their clients that are in need of assistance of moving their items to a new residence. This is a wonderful experience for our movers. It allows them to see a different perspective on life.
Founded in 1983, United Food Bank’s mission is to provide access to nutritious food through community partnerships, food distribution and education in the greater East Valley and Eastern Arizona. We assist them in various ways, such as transporting cases of water, cans of food, and other items as needed.
For nearly 90 years, the Junior League of Phoenix has worked to make a positive impact here in the Valley of the Sun. A women's volunteer organization, the Junior League of Phoenix encourages civic leadership and community involvement through training and a diversity of programs addressing issues such as hunger, obesity, health, and education. Every year, TWO MEN AND TRUCK of Mesa donates trucks and labor to their annual Rummage Sale fundraiser.

When you're moving, you kind of have boxes all over the place.
I always recommend to have a clear path.
And if you want it to go faster, put a clear path
(Video shows a mover carrying a chair down a customer's hallway in their house)
and put the boxes towards the door.
That way they can just grab them and go.
(Video cuts to a mover with a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving truck in the background)
Being prepared, It's so many times we've, we've gone into customer homes where they weren't ready.
Like, you know what I mean?
Don't get me wrong, It's hourly,
(Video cuts to a franchise moving truck backing up)
but we're here to try to make you better in there.
(Video cuts back to mover)
But it's like we've come to some that they look like they just woke up that morning "Like, hey, I'm, I think I'm gonna move today" like, you know?
(Video cuts to the Warehouse Manager of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Franchise)
Get a big sharpie, label every box and what room it's going to go into.
(A mover is shown unloading a loaded up MOVING TRUCK)
You're moving into a multi-family home, make sure that, you know, everything's labeled on what floor, whether it's going to an attic, to a basement, to
a kitchen, to a first bedroom, a second bedroom,
(Video cuts back to warehouse manager)
make that plan and have it all down on a piece of paper.
It will make your life a whole heck of a lot easier.
(Video cuts to operations manager)
Be honest on your estimate.
And then you get there and like, oh surprise, we got three more rooms.
We'll get it done, but it's nice heads up.
(Video cuts to an In-Home Estimator)
No loose items. So try and have everything boxed up, packed up, taped up.
The more organized you can be, the better your move goes.
(Video cuts a move manager)
You be ready and we're ready.
(Video and music end with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK word logo and the video title "Moving" below it.

So finding a moving company can be difficult because moving is a very stressful situation.
A lot of times it comes, um, very unexpectedly.
Um, so they have to make, um, a very quick decision.
Um, and sometimes it's not the most informed, um,
and those that can make it very difficult.
(Video cuts to a Two Men And A Truck operations manager sitting at his desk)
Being able to move, you're, you're moving your whole life, you want to be able to make sure
whoever you choose can do everything you need, whether that's, you know, getting rid of any items you don't want anymore,
whether they can move every item that you have, you know, some moving companies may not be able to move certain things.
So a lot of people wanna be sure they choose a moving company that, you know, they could fully trust.
(The title "Guaranteeing security with your movers" displays on the screen for a few moments)
(Video cuts back to the customer service representative)
A reputable Moving company is usually licensed, bonded, and insured.
(Video cuts to a moving truck with the back opened)
(Two Movers carry a couch into the back of the moving truck)
Um, which basically means we're, we're registered with the state or, um, that we're operating in as well as, um, if someone were to get hurt on the job, the homeowner is protected
by our license and bonding.
(Video shows an employee typing on her computer)
Online reviews definitely have a, a very big effect on, you know, your, your business.
(Another employee using their computer)
So whenever I'm looking to go buy something online.
(Video cuts back to employee typing on her keyboard)
I'm, I'm, you know, looking at the reviews first and seeing what, what other people have said about, you know, set product or company.
(Video cuts back to operations manager sitting at his desk)
So you definitely wanna be able to take care of people where you can.
So, you know, you have those overwhelming positive reviews.
(video then shows the title "know what your paying for")
(Video cuts back to the customer service representative)
Two Men And A Truck deposits um are usually pretty low, um in terms of the total move cost.
(One mover is setting up orange in the road behind the moving truck)
And then they, for the most part are refundable up until a certain point.
(video show a mover carrying a wheel chock)
Um And they're applied to the move total.
(Video cuts back to the customer service rep)
They're not an additional fee.
(Video cuts to the title "Communication during the move process)
(Video cuts to the operations manager)
Communication is very important during the moving process.
(Customer service rep answering the phone)
Uh A lot of customers have, you know, they're always gonna have questions
that come across, you know, during the move.
(Video cuts to a moving truck driving in a parking lot)
And sometimes they're wondering if, you know, guys can take extra items and maybe the guys aren't quite sure.
So they'll be able to, you know, reach out to us and ask us if you don't have a good communication to start in the day, then things get kind of confusing.
(Video cuts to an interview of one of the movers)
Um for instance, for addresses and things like that or like even getting like carpet shield down for them just to make sure that their homes protected.
It's not um it's not a good thing to have them in the, in the dark about things.
It's good to be as open as you can with them and be as comfortable as you can with them just to kind of get them through the Day.
(Video ends with a call to action and the Two Men And A Truck logo and tagline "Movers Who Care")
(Video Starts out with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Logo and piano music in the background)

(A series of animals move across the screen behind the cactus plant. Animal noises can be heard in the background)
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK doesn't transport any living things including plants and animals, depending on the weather.
Our trucks can get very hot or very cold inside.
There's also a lack of good air flow in the trucks.
Please be sure to make other arrangements for moving your pets and plants.
(The words "Will They Move My Food" appear on the screen)
I'm concerned my frozen food will thaw in your truck during the move.
What should I do?
(A variety of different cartoon food s appear on the screen)

These items can rot spoil and smell in the truck.

We recommend cash, jewelry, photographs and important papers be taken with you as well as other items that may have strong
sentimental value.
