This community has contributed to the success of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, which is why giving back to this community is so important to us! Our hope is that our presence in the community is seen and also felt!  

Movers for Moms®

Movers for Moms® is a national campaign that gives TWO MEN AND A TRUCK the opportunity to give back to moms throughout the country! Mother’s Day is a day where moms are celebrated for their hard work and sacrifice throughout the year. As we very well know, some moms fall on hard times, and their children aren’t able to celebrate them as they’d like to.

That’s where we step in! It is with great pleasure that we get the opportunity to serve moms along the Gulf Coast with our Movers for Moms campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to recognize moms living in shelters on Mother’s Day by arranging delivery of small gifts for women who are victims of domestic abuse or homelessness.

This year we collected 1200 items and donated to the Penelope House of Mobile, AL. The mission of the Penelope House is to provide safety, protection, and support to the victims of Domestic Violence and their children through the provision shelter, advocacy, and individual and community education (http://www.penelopehouse.org/). In the past, we have done several charity based moves for the Penelope House where we moved women out of their temporary housing into their new permanent homes.

This year we have the pleasure of having 15 drop-off locations in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. These locations have chosen to collect essential care items for the women in the Penelope House of Mobile, AL. 

Touch-a-truck 

We love a fun-filled event where kids of all ages get the chance to touch, explore, and climb on just about any vehicle they can imagine! From fire truck and ambulances to backhoes and bulldozers, Touch-A-Truck has them all! For the last two years, all donations from Touch-A-Truck have went to Rapahope and Adoption rocks! Rapahope has been bringing joy to children diagnosed with cancer and their families since 1985! Our company has enjoyed this event very much and we love partnering with our friends at Rapahope and Adoption rocks to make it possible! 

The Great Toy Drive

With eight years under their belt, The Great Toy Drive has become a staple of The Gulf Coast with its work to provide children with toys to make their Christmas a little bit brighter! The toys collected are distributed through the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots to individual families as well as many other charitable organizations throughout the Gulf Coast. For the past four years, we participate with this cause by donating a truck delivering items to the Salvation Army!
