1. Plan ahead

   The first thing you need to do is plan. Preparing makes moving a dresser easier. Start by measuring the dresser. Then, measure all the doorways, hallways, and stairs that you’ll need to pass through. This will help you determine whether the dresser can fit without getting stuck.

   Next, make sure the path is clear. Move any furniture, toys, or other items that might be in the way. You don’t want to trip or stop while carrying the dresser.

2. Prepare the dresser
