What TWO MEN AND A TRUCK can’t move during the home moving process

What TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Can't Move

We’re officially into May, which means it’s National Moving Month!

As you can imagine, National Moving Month is a big deal to the teams at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, and franchises are geared up and ready to move our wonderful customers forward with whatever moving needs they might have. If you’re looking to complete a move as the summer months approach, be sure to contact your local moving franchise and get on their schedule today!

Prepping for a home move can be an exciting but also chaotic time. There is so much involved with the process, from packing up all your things to taking care of utilities, buying and selling homes, and figuring out how you will move all your belongings. For many, the best way to tackle this is by calling a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team and letting them do the heavy lifting!

We’re known for all the things we CAN move, but it’s important for customers to know what we CAN’T move come moving day. This will help you avoid any last-second mishaps where you’re scrambling to figure out what to do with something we can’t handle.

 Medication and Prescription Drugs

This rule is in place for precautionary reasons. We want to avoid any situation that might occur where a customer could need their medicines or prescription drugs but cannot quickly access them due to the items being packed away in our moving trucks. Always pack these items separately from what’s being moved so you can have them if needed.

Anything Living

It might go without saying, but it’s still worth a reminder: TWO MEN AND A TRUCK cannot move anything that is alive, such as pets or other animals. The main reason is their safety, as it’s not safe for them to be in the back of a moving truck.

Flammable Items

This section includes things like antifreeze, car batteries, ammunitions, propane, paint, household cleaners, and weed killer. As you might imagine, it’s not safe for us to have anything that could be considered flammable in the back of our moving trucks with the rest of your belongings.

Gas or Machine Items

Gas or machine items like grills, tractors, smokers, and lawn mowers that take gasoline need to be moved separately by you, as they also cannot be loaded into the back of our moving trucks.

Sentimental Items

We consider sentimental items to be things like cash, insurance papers, birth certificates, jewelry, or anything similar to these items. This prevents any situation where they get lost, misplaced, or damaged, and will save you the trouble of figuring out how to recover them.
