Last Sunday was National Grandparents Day, and as a company, we took the time to celebrate and honor all the wonderful grandparents in our lives who mean so much to us.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has a special place in its heart for senior citizens. We’ve always made sure to give a little extra care and compassion when helping to move seniors, as we know how emotionally challenging this time can be. The company wouldn’t be where it is today without the help of our favorite Grandma – Founder Mary Ellen Sheets’ mother, known as “Grandma Eb” – who played an instrumental role in getting the brand off the ground by allowing her home to function as the first official “office” in the late 1980s.
As an ode to Grandma Eb and what she meant to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we created our core value, THE GRANDMA RULE, which means to treat each and every customer the same way you’d want your own grandma to be treated. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK teams live out this core value daily, and it drives us as a brand when we’re out moving people forward!
