TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has moved over 10 million customers in the last 40 years, and we have no intentions of slowing down as your trusted source for professional moving services.
But we’re so much more than just two movers lifting a couch from your living room into our moving truck and driving it to your new home. We pride ourselves on giving back to the communities where we work and operate, and this is something we have focused on since the very beginning.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Founder, Mary Ellen Sheets, wanted to set the tone early that this would be a brand that gives back to those in need. So, after she made it an official moving business in Lansing, Mich., she took the first $1,000 in revenue and divided it up into ten $100 checks to be given to local organizations in the mid-Michigan area. It was a small but important gesture, as she let the people in the Lansing community know that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK was a brand customers could trust to represent the community the right way.
All these years later, this mindset of giving back still lives on at all our franchise locations, and one of our company core values is “Give Back To The Community”. Whether it’s through our own charitable campaigns like Movers for Moms®, Movers Mutts®, Movers for Military®, Movers for Meals®, and Truckload of Warmth®, or it’s working with partners like Convoy of Hope and Cheeriodicals, we make sure we do what we can to put our resources to good use and help those in need.
2025 was another great year of giving back for the brand, and we highlighted some of the ways we were able to get out and make a difference in the video below.
