It’s bright, colorful, and won’t take very long to put together. “Boxtumes” are one of our spins on Halloween costumes that can be made from simple boxes (like our moving boxes) and supplies around the house. If you think this costume is the one for you, check out the steps below on how to bring this creation to life.
Step 1: If you’re looking to express your creativity and want to become a painter for Halloween, you will need paint, paintbrushes, a medium box (you may want a smaller or large box depending on how tall you’re), scissors, and string.
Step 2: Take the box and sketch out a paint palette.
Step 3: Next cut out the paint pallet. Once it’s cut out, add two holes to the top and one on the side.
Step 4: Pick any paint colors you want and create big circles on the palette. Make sure to fill all the circles in.
Step 5: Let the paint dry.
Step 6: Take the string and tie it in the two holes.
Step 7: Grab your paintbrush and you’re ready for your artwork to come alive!
