Movers for Military

2019 marked the third year that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Las Vegas has participated in the Movers for Military® campaign. With the help of USO Las Vegas and numerous partner businesses and organizations, this campaign benefits military members and their families in Las Vegas and all of Nevada. Throughout the drive, we collect items which can be of use to our troops and their families as they transition to and from deployment and face the numerous difficulties that come with serving. Thank you to everyone for your support!

Movers for Moms

Our company’s flagship community cause program is Movers for Moms®. Each spring, we partner with local businesses and organizations to collect essential care items for mothers and children who are served by SafeNest, a non-profit dedicated to ending domestic abuse in Nevada.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Las Vegas wants every mother in our community to feel loved on the Mother's Day. This campaign is our little way of showing we care! We are currently seeking partners to assist us in collecting items for the mothers at SafeNest, such as: personal care items (shampoos, soaps, lotions, etc.), new or gently used clothing or pajamas, adult or child art supplies, baby items (diapers, bottles, sippy cups, etc).

If you're interested in participating as a drop-off location, please contact Jaymes Bell.

Habitat for Humanity

Working with Habitat for Humanity is a great joy to us. Whenever a house is completed and sold, we provide moving services to the family that purchased the house. Of course, we don’t charge them anything and we strive to ensure that when we leave, they are situated in their home and ready to tackle their new life. Habitat for Humanity's Vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas builds single-family homes throughout Clark County for working families earning less than 80% of Area Median Income. The home is sold at no profit through a no-interest mortgage. Families volunteer their labor to help build Habitat homes, including the one they will eventually purchase. Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas revitalizes and stabilizes neighborhoods in our community that cannot support private development. Sponsors, donors, volunteers, and families work together to build homes, settle families and grow a community of neighbors.

Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada Inc

Junior Achievement of Southern Las Vegas(opens in a new window) works with students of all different ages to learn about their roles as individuals, workers, consumers while focusing on key life skills. The students are taught about the importance of saving and learning about what the difference is between wanting something and needing something. We were a Transportation Sponsor for their 4.01K Race for Financial Fitness. They painted us the adorable photo as a way to thank us for contributing to their charity.

LIGHT THE NIGHT - LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY

The Light the Night Walk(opens in a new window), hosted by LLS, is one of our favorite projects of the year. We provide assistance by delivering event materials and equipment to the event site as well as manpower to set up. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research, finding cures and ensuring access to treatments for blood cancer patients. Since 1949, LLS has been on the forefront of blood cancer advancements such as chemotherapies and stem cell transplantations, leading the way to the targeted therapies and immunotherapies that save thousands of lives.

Race for the Cure Las Vegas Nevada

Susan G. Komen

Race for the Cure is arguably our biggest charity event of the year. We work very closely with the various committees to ensure that everything needed for the event is delivered and set up properly. We enjoy working with them and we know that their efforts truly do make a difference. The Southern Nevada affiliate was established in the fall of 1996, following the First Annual Komen Southern Nevada Race for the Cure, with 1,359 participants. Today, this event has grown to nearly 20,000 participants and raises close to $1 million. The race is always the first Saturday in May. Thanks to events, like Race for the Cure, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors, and fellow supporters, the Affiliate has invested more than $6 million to breast health and cancer projects in Clark, Nye, Lincoln, Esmeralda, White, Pine, and Mineral counties the last 16 years.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Cheeriodicals delivery Sunrise Children's Hospital

Cheeriodicals

Cheeriodicals began as a service to help people find useful and enjoyable gifts for their loved ones in the hospital. After realizing how many recipients of their gifts were children, they decided to team up with corporate sponsors to help deliver gift boxes to all children in hospitals. Their corporate team-building events now create boxes that are delivered to children, veterans, and frontline workers. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® have teamed up with Cheeriodicals to help deliver these boxes to their recipients. Here in Las Vegas, we most recently delivered to Sunrise Children's Hospital where every child received a big green box of cheer!
