Moving Our Community Forward!

From the very beginning, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®  has been passionate about giving back to their community.  Founder, Mary Ellen Sheets gave her first profits to ten different non-profit organizations in Lansing, Michigan.  We follow that same model here in Dallas and support our community any way we can.

Partnerships and organizations

Actively supporting local schools, churches, and organizations in our local community, we are so much more than movers. We enthusiastically support the Calvary Children’s Home of Powder Springs with donations of labor, moving services and supplies, and delivery services; over the past 10 years, we’ve donated an estimated $10,000 worth of services to this worthy cause. We have recently extended our arms out to The S.H.A.R.E. House, Shepherds Rest Ministries and My Father's House in an effort to help even more of our community.  At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we are all about moving people forward and are happy to help local children in our community.

Calvary Childrens Home CCHlogo

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Douglas County partnered with the Calvery Children's Home in Powder Springs where each year we participate in their annual Christmas tree lot. We have the opportunity to pick up their trees in North Carolina each year and bring them to Georgia for Calvery to sell to the community. We also work with them throughout the year by donating gently used furniture from our moves to the homes for the children.  We want to thank all of our customers for helping provide these items for Calvary Children's Home.

Shepard's Rest Ministries, Inc. SRMlogo

Shepard’s Rest Ministries, Inc. is a local domestic violence shelter in Dallas that we are fully committed to supporting. Although we only recently became involved with the shelter, we are already enjoying being able to help with their summer fundraising events. We are excited to announce that we will be including them in next year’s Movers for Moms® campaign.
