Community Service in Minneapolis
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms
Each year, we partner with other community-minded businesses and organizations during our Movers for Moms® campaign. Together, we collect hundreds of essential care items for mothers in domestic abuse or homeless shelters, just in time for Mother’s Day. If your business would like to help collect items, please contact us for more information.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Minneapolis Northwest donated our moving services to help Cheeriodicals deliver hundreds of “Big Green Boxes of Cheer” to the Masonic Children’s Hospital at the University of Minnesota and St. Paul Children’s Hospital. Cheeriodicals works with organizations for corporate team building events. During the event, the company comes together and builds hundreds of cheer boxes. We’re so honored to be part of such a wonderful organization!
For over 30 years, Cornerstone staff have been serving adults and children traumatized by unhealthy, destructive relationships based on power and control. Throughout our history, they have dedicated themselves to helping people build healthy and violence-free lives for themselves and their families. Every spring we run our Movers for Moms® campaign to collect donations and deliver them to the women of Cornerstone. We work with local community organizations to collect goods that will make Mother’s Day a little brighter for mothers at Cornerstone.
Friends of Southdale
Friends of Southdale Library is a volunteer-run organization which supports the Southdale branch of the Hennepin County Library system. With values such as Generosity, Curiosity, and Friendship it's a natural partnership for us. We're happy we can help by doing set up, tear down, and transporting books for events that they host.
Toys for Tots
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK of Northwest Minneapolis is proud to again partner with Toys for Tots for the 2020 winter holidays. Our team assists throughout the campaign, picking up and dropping off donated items, as well as providing storage until the toys are delivered. We send our crew and trucks out throughout the collection period. The United States Marine Corp runs this program and distributes new, unwrapped toys to children whose families are unable to purchase Christmas presents. If you would like to donate toys, you can stop by our Hopkins location where we have a collection box.
Twin Cities Kids in Need Resource Center
We have built an excellent relationship with the Twin Cities Kids In Need Resource Center. They provide students in need with free school supplies. They want to make it possible for these children to fully participate in classroom learning. We assist by delivering pallets of backpacks filled with school supplies to local schools.
