Congratulations to the Mary Ellen's Moving People Forward® Scholarship winner: Denise Blaisdell
For the eighth year, the Mary Ellen's Moving People Forward Scholarship has come to a close and is moving another deserving employee forward! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® President Randy Shacka traveled to Baton Rouge, La., on Thursday, Jan. 12, to present a $50,000 check to this year's scholarship winner: Denise Blaisdell!
The Mary Ellen's Moving People Forward Scholarship is designed to lay the groundwork for participating managers to become successful TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisees. Throughout the past six months, four participating managers have vigorously worked to attend webinars, complete assignments, present their business plans, and more, aiming for enough program points to be awarded 100 percent of their franchise fee.
After completing the program, it is time for Blaisdell to move from her current role of Mobile and Foley, Ala., Regional Vice President of Operations to Monmouth County, N.J., Franchisee! Blaisdell will use the $50,000 she was awarded to open a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise in Monmouth County, N.J., during March of 2023, in partnership with Multi-Unit Franchisee Joseph South.
