it had been over 30 years since my last move and I had accumulated a lot more stuff so I needed professionals to move me to my new location. The staff person who spoke to me explained exactly what would happen and the quote was reasonable. There were no surprises with the price after the move. The guys kept in contact with us about their arrival, surveyed the amount of items, packed it, wrapped it, and loaded it on the truck very efficiently. They worked diligently and placed everything were we indicated taking care nor to damage floors, doors and walls. They were great and worked well together. I would hire Two Men and a Truck again and definitely recommend them as a superior moving company!

My experience was great, they were punctual, efficient, and got the move done in about half of the predicted time. I really appreciate that you only pay for the time that you use, and I didn't feel like the movers were dwindling or anything. They were respectful and attentive to my needs, and did a great job overall. Will use again and refer friends to you.

Having successfully used Two Men and a Truck in an earlier local move, we returned to the company for a move from Oakton, Va. to Charlottesville, Va., a two-hour drive. Our experience with both the administrative staff and the the movers themselves was again excellent. Additionally, we were pleased with the companyandacirc;??s flat-rate pricing policy on out-of-area moves. It permitted easy budgeting for the move, and eliminated any concerns, often seen with other moving companies we have used, about unanticipated cost increases claimed during and/or after the move. Well done by all your staff of professionals.

Overall extremely happy with Two Men and a Truck. Was recommend to go with 3 Men to move all the boxes. Which was good or it would have taken twice as long with just 2 Men. They did break an item waiting to hear back from the claims department.
I could not have moved my items by myself. Great for a local move and reasonable cost.

The reason for the poor ratings in terms of the office staff relates to the issue of using (and being charged) for a 26 FOOT truck to move FIVE FILING CABINETS, two bicycles and some minor odds and ends that DID NOT fill a 10 X 5 cube unit.
I feel being charged for such a large truck for such a small amount of things is not right. The charge for the truck should be apportioned, based upon the overall weight of this move....If you do not have smaller trucks, very well, but the don't penalize, effectively, the customer for the fact you do not have smaller trucks for such smaller moving jobs.

The team arrived promptly, immediately got to work moving each piece of furniture carefully, and always asking if the placement was exactly how I wanted it. Will and Elliot had such a positive attitude and really wanted us to be pleased with the changes in our home and their service. They removed excess furniture which was no longer needed.

Our experience with the 3 movers that were assigned to us was amazing. Our condo has a lot of stairs and our stairs have always been damaged when getting new furniture or when we first moved in. These guys did an amazing job carrying our furniture down the stairs and not damaging the stairs or furniture. I will definitely use your company again!! And the gentleman were all very nice and helpful.
