LOCAL ROUND ROCK MOVES

The majority of our Round Rock moves will be within close proximity to one another. Usually just across town.  We service most areas around Round Rock, such as Teravista, Forest Creek, Behrens Ranch, Paloma Lake, Vizcaya, and Walsh Ranch. Most apartment complexes are close to downtown.

Most of our Round Rock moves fall along the University Blvd/A.W. Grimes area between Teravista and Gattis School Road. Being familiar with the newer areas on the east side of town and around I-35/SH-45, and knowing the HOAs in the area, allows us to give you better quotes and a smoother process.

FAQs

What if my movers are late?

We will give you a time frame when you schedule. Sometimes we get delayed on I-35, SH-45, or University Blvd. But we monitor all of our trucks and will let you know if we will be late.

What if something breaks?

We take great care when packing and loading your belongings to ensure nothing breaks during your move. If anything does get broken we will process your claim as soon as possible. Whether it needs to be repaired, replaced, or refunded will depend on what type of valuation coverage you have.

Will I have insurance for my belongings?

Yes. As a Texas motor carrier, we offer the minimum amount of Carrier Liability Valuation coverage that the state of Texas requires. If you would like to insure higher-value items we can offer increased valuation coverage.

How long will my move take?

Local moves typically take 3-6 hours for most 2-3 bedroom houses or apartments. This all depends on how much you are moving, stairs/elevator access, and distance to your new home. We will let you know an estimated time frame when we give you a quote.

How many movers will I have?

It all depends on the size of your home and how much you are moving. We usually send a crew of 2-3 movers and a 26 ft truck for residential moves. If you have a larger home or more items that are heavy, we may need to send 4 movers or even a second truck to make sure your move runs as quickly as possible.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit/debit cards and certified funds. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. We will collect payment at the end of your move.

What if I have stairs or a freight elevator at my new house?

If you have stairs at your new home, please let us know when requesting your estimate. We will have hand trucks and floor runners available to make your move go smoothly.

How far in advance should I schedule my move?

2-4 weeks in advance is best. Most of our customers move on weekends or the end of the month, which can cause high demand for our trucks. On weekdays, we can usually fit you in sooner if there are openings.

Can I schedule a last-minute move?

Yes, we can schedule last-minute moves based on availability. If you need to move earlier than expected due to a change in closing date, please give us a call.

Can I cancel or change my move date?

Yes, if your move date changes, you can reschedule. Just give us at least 5 days' notice, and we will reschedule your move date.

How can I prepare for my movers?

  • Keep all important papers, valuable items, and medications you may need that day in a bag with you.
  • Label all boxes with what room they go to. Mark any fragile items.
  • Make sure you have clear pathways to doors and out to your driveway for the movers and truck.
  • Have a parking spot or loading dock available for your moving crew, and provide any HOA or gate codes.

What is included in professional packing?

We will provide all packing materials such as boxes, packing paper, tape, wardrobe boxes, and dish cartons. We will pack and label all your belongings room by room. We can also pack only your breakables if that's what you need.

What is considered long distance?

Long distance is any move that goes out of state or farther than what we consider local in Texas. From Round Rock to Dallas or Houston, we can help. If you are moving across the country, our Expedited and Value Flex® programs can accommodate your move no matter how far you need to go.

Will my belongings need to be disassembled?

Our movers will disassemble and reassemble most furniture such as bed frames, headboards, and dining room tables. If you have anything that requires more than that, we may need you to prep the item or use a third party to disassemble.

Can I leave items in my dresser?

Yes, lightweight, non-breakable items can be left in your dresser, such as T-shirts, socks, and sheets. Just make sure to remove any heavy items from the dresser and box them up. This can cause damage to your dresser if left full.
