TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego abrió sus puertas en agosto de 2012 con los franquiciados dedicados Pedro Gallegos y Alicia Sorber Gallegos. Ubicado en Kearny Mesa, esta es la primera oficina ubicada al sur de California. Dos años y medio después de abrir su primera oficina, en febrero de 2015, el matrimonio abrió una segunda sede en San Marcos. En los próximos dos años, Pedro y Alicia planean crecer y abrir otras dos oficinas adicionales en el condado de San Diego.

La marca TWO MEN AND A TRUCK en San Diego comparte un vínculo familiar especial: el padre y el tío de Alicia son los "dos hombres" originales de la compañía y la fundadora de la misma, Mary Ellen Sheets, es la abuela de Alicia. I was born in Los Angeles and raised in San Diego. I started out in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1997 to 2001, and that experience really set the tone for how I approach life; stay disciplined, work hard, and take care of your team. After that, I spent over five years in corrections, working my way from Officer I to Sergeant. It wasn’t easy work, but it taught me how to lead, communicate clearly, and stay steady when things get tough.

After leaving law enforcement, I moved into the private sector and have spent the last 20 years in operations. I joined TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in 2019 and worked my way up to General Manager. These days, I focus on supporting our crew, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure we show up for our customers the right way; every time.

Outside of work, I’m a proud dad to two grown sons and two dogs. I’m big into CrossFit (won a competition in June 2024, which was a blast), I enjoy reading about history, and I’m convinced BBQ works any day of the week..rain or shine!

Outside of work, I love spending time in the kitchen, baking treats, and trying out new recipes. I’m also an avid reader who enjoys exploring different genres and discovering new stories. Whether in my professional or personal life, I’m all about creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

I joined TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in 2019 as an Operations Manager, and after four years, I transitioned into the role of Sales Manager. It’s incredibly rewarding to help customers move forward with such a family-oriented company. My favorite core value at TMT is THE GRANDMA RULE®, a principle that resonates deeply with me because I was raised by my grandma Bea. She taught me the importance of treating others with respect and honesty. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, shopping at Target (her favorite store), attending SD Padres games, going to festivals and concerts, and cherishing time with my family.

Hello! I’m Joe, and I’m thrilled to be your Sales Consultant here at TMT. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is helping our customers navigate the sometimes overwhelming process of moving. I take great joy in making this experience a little less stressful and a lot more enjoyable for you!

When I’m not busy assisting clients, I’m likely on the mats practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—an incredible passion I discovered in my late 30s that has truly enriched my life. I also love spending quality time with my family and friends, creating memories that I cherish deeply.

Hi! I'm Zealand, the In-home consultant specialist here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. Prior to this position, I spent two years working in our trucks as a Mover and Driver. In that time I developed an affinity for one of our core values: CARE. I found that the greater level of care you provide to the customer and their belongings, the easier it is to provide exceptional customer service. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and playing chess.

I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work directly with my son Pedro and my daughter-in-law Alicia. They make a great team, I am enormously proud of them. In the beginning, it was a little bit strange; I was used to being the one who gave the orders or made the decisions as a father and an executive, but now the roles are reversed. I recently moved to San Diego from Ecuador and I am dealing with the cultural shock that happens when you move to another country. I am in the process of improving my English in order to be more useful to the company. I love to practice sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Walking or just going to the beach.

I have degrees in business, divinity, and archaeology, achieving my PhD In 2024. Whether in business or ministry, I have devoted myself to helping people. Any success I have had as a husband, father, businessman, educator, or pastor has come from investing in the success of others. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family.
