Your LIGHTHOUSE POINT Movers

Lighthouse Point and Hillsboro Beach sit side by side, but they live very differently. Lighthouse Point is made up largely of single-family homes, quiet residential streets, garages, and waterfront neighborhoods where boats are as common as SUVs. Hillsboro Beach, by contrast, is a narrow barrier island defined by condominiums, oceanfront buildings, and tightly managed properties between the Intracoastal and the Atlantic. Together, they attract professionals, long-time residents, and seasonal homeowners who value privacy, order, and proximity to the water without the chaos of denser coastal cities.

MOVING ISN'T A challenge IF YOU'RE A LOCAL

Moving in these communities is shaped by access and coordination. Lighthouse Point moves often involve driveways, canal-front properties, limited curb space, and neighborhood expectations that favor planning over improvisation. Hillsboro Beach moves lean heavily on elevator reservations, loading windows, HOA approvals, and strict building rules. Traffic along A1A, bridge schedules, and weather exposure can affect timing in both areas, making local familiarity more than just helpful—it’s necessary.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® approaches moves in Lighthouse Point and Hillsboro Beach with an understanding of how each area actually functions. Our South Florida crews are accustomed to residential waterfront logistics as well as high-rise procedures, allowing moves to stay organized, respectful, and efficient. The focus is simple: plan carefully, move deliberately, and keep the process calm for the people who call these coastal communities home.

LOCAL RESOURCES

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONs

Q - Are your movers experienced with the parking and HOA regulations in Hillsboro?

A - TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® regularly move clients both into and out of every residential building along the Hillsboro stretch of A1A. Our trucks are sized to accommodate restrictive parking lots, loading docks, and narrow private driveways. As our insurance typically exceeds the requirements of many of the local buildings, we are preferred movers for many locations. Our Certificate of Insurance (COI) is on file at many locations and when it requires unit specific wording our Customer Service Team works with clients and their HOAs to provide the necessary documentation.

Q - Is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® located within Lighthouse Point.

A - In a word, no. But almost none of the businesses that service Lighthouse Point are (shout out to Papa's Raw Bar) actually located within the city. Lighthouse Point is not large to begin with, it's a small town vibe with the benefits of being big city adjacent. We don't have to drive 15 miles to get to the grocery store or the movie theater. However, the commercial district in LHP is confined to a short strip located along Federal Hwy that is mostly restaurants and Publix (no idea why we have three). The invisible line is NE 52nd Street to the North and Copans Road to the South. Our dispatch location is strategically situated just off the corner of Copans and Andrews Ave. This allows our moving crews a direct, five-minute line straight into the heart of Lighthouse Point and easy access to cross the bridge to Hillsboro.
