Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Dallas and not just because of the candy! Every October, our team brings imagination to life through our annual Boxtume tradition, transforming ordinary moving boxes into extraordinary costumes. This year, we had the exciting opportunity to share our latest creations on Fox 4’s The Ten, where we showcased some of our most creative designs yet, a pirate ship, a dinosaur head, and a zoo!
Each of these Boxtumes started the same way our moves do, with a sturdy TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® box and a big idea. Our pirate ship featured hand-painted details, cardboard sails, and a “deck” fit for a little captain ready to sail through Halloween night. The dinosaur head brought prehistoric fun to life with its colorful scales and fierce (but friendly!) expression. And our zoo Boxtume was a crowd favorite, plus our little friend made this Boxtume 100% cuter!
What makes our Boxtumes extra special is how versatile they are. While they’re perfect for kids who love creative costumes, they can also be adapted for strollers and wagons, making them ideal for little ones who aren’t quite walking yet. Parents can easily attach or rest the Boxtumes on a stroller or wagon, transforming it into a moving masterpiece for trick-or-treating. It’s a fun, inclusive way to let every child join in on the Halloween magic, no matter their age or ability.
