We are so excited for another busy season this summer! Reflecting on last year, we did almost 250 moves in the month of June, and this year we are hoping for even more! June is also known as the busiest move month of the year, with June 27th - June 29th being the busiest weekend.
Across the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system, we are expecting to do close to 5,000 moves in just that one weekend! Combined, that would be 546,000+ miles driven, 4,700+ trucks used, and 14,383,866 pounds of belongings moved!
This is the best time for people to move because:
- The school year is done! This gives families time and ensures they don’t disrupt their children’s schedules.
- Most leases are over in June, so many people will be moving to a new place!
- The weather is also more favorable in the summer months. You avoid the snow and bad weather.
