Meet Our Team

Miembro destacado del equipo
Tim LIghtner
In 1993, Tim opened the franchise with two movers and one truck. He booked the moves himself and worked on the truck nights and weekends, all while working a regular full-time job. Things were a little different back then compared to today. He had to take orders by the phone, didn’t use a computer only hand-written notebooks, and his drivers would use a payphone to check in between moves!
Back then he thought if he could make it to three trucks in five years, he would have arrived. As of today, Tim is proud to say his franchise now runs over 25 trucks and a staff of more than 80 people during the summer! He continues to set goals for his company and always continues to focus on giving back to his community, industry, and evolving his staff. He enjoys watching our team develop and advance with the company.
Along with being a franchise owner, Tim volunteers his time to the International Franchise Association and has served as a panelist at an annual meeting of franchisors.
Outside of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, going biking, and hunting in the Northwoods.

General Manager
Matthew Leider
When Matthew first started at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, he was new to the technical aspects of the job—dealing with transportation and selling over the phone was a whole new world. But his extensive retail management experience means that he was right at home motivating large teams toward shared goals.
Matthew knows that businesses can’t exist without people. He describes his primary role as general manager as “taking care of people” and helping them develop and become successful.
“You might not understand what this career is all about yet, but it’s about much more than work. We’ll train you for the work,” Matthew said. “If you take the time to learn more about the organization and the people, you will see our diversity. As part of that, you will grow—whether by gaining new friends or developing news skills. Each person on the team brings something special to the table.”

Office Manager
Tyna Lund
“Back in the early days of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Madison, Tim Lightner, the founder, kept some of his trucks on a lot of my father’s business in Oregon, Wisconsin,” Tyna said. “Dad would help make sure the trucks were up and running on cold mornings. I remember him mentioning this ‘young guy’ starting up ‘that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving deal.’ Now I work here—life is a funny thing!”
In her operations role, Tyna is responsible for helping our teams move forward with excellence every day. In a sense, she’s passing on a gift she received from her grandmother. “My grandmother was THE person who ALWAYS believed in me and helped me move forward in life,” she said. “I believe she is still with me and watching over me.”
Tyna says she's sometimes described as intense and then laughingly adds," I prefer 'passionate'!” In addition, she truly does not like the spotlight. “I like to do things for others without them knowing it,” she says.
So far her favorite thing about working at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is the people.

Sacha appreciates the flexibility that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK allows for her to be there for her kids, which is very important to her. She also says the people she works with—from supervisors, office mates, and crews—are a good combination of healthy competition and support.
