Read your contract carefully. I didn’t realize I needed to give an exact inventory of exactly what was to be moved. The movers didn’t take things that were not on the inventory. Mover got mad because something leaked inside a box and assumed it was a banned substance but it wasn’t. He yelled at me prior to knowing the substance. He apologized but the damage was done. Not a pleasant experience.

The guys were very hard workers. Kind and personalized. My problem is each item they moved regardless of value was wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped. That is very time consuming , many of the items had little value but were wrapped as if they were of great value. Hours of wasted time wrapping things that didn't need it made this job so expensive it exceeded the value of the items.

I usually move myself but my couch was a pain to get into my old apartment. My man Eli not only got the couch out with no issue but also went above and beyond getting it into my new place. They had to take my door off and get it up some steep stairs. Eli said he wasn’t sure if it would fit but he said they would give it a shot! Twenty minutes later the couch is in!
