I moved 10 miles away. Every wood piece of furniture, Drexel heritage 59 year old small cabinet, Ethan Allen cherry table and a large Ethan Allen large armoire had chips of wood out of them and damage. I had almost as much damage on this move as I had on a long distance move with storage, so really 2 moves. One of my Upholstered chairs haid a dirty hand mark on it which thankfully I was able to get out.
I don't think there was a lot of care put into preserving the condition of my furniture. I tipped the movers in cash, something no mover had previously demanded, but after seeing the condition of my furniture I wish I had not tipped them. My husband and I have moved ourselves and 3 adult children and every time, we did a better job.
I wouldn't hire them again.

They were prompt, kind, efficient in their work, and took amazing care of my belongings. They wrapped everything with such care. Nothing was damaged including walls. An amazing experience. The team that moved me took great care of my belongings. They wrapped all the furniture so none of it was damaged. They even took my old stuff to a local charity as a donation. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again in the future.

Moving staff were very nice, but was unaware of the tip requests. Problems that occurred included, failure to move some large objects on walls, broken large southwest mirror, failure to label all boxes, some had room on them, most did not. Because of this Boxes were placed randomly throughout our home, making it extremely difficult to efficiently unpack!

The move was successful, the packing portion could have been done with greater organization and care.

We have used your service at least a half dozen times and the movers have always been very nice, professional and get things done in a timely manner. My only negative would be having the "tip" portion on the ipad as a choice while the movers wait for you to choose, it's a service you hired and you're paying for so it should be up to the customer to decide and not to pressure into, my husband is a builder and he doesn't ask for a tip on his final billing...same difference.
