Movers scheduled to arrive between 8-9am. I had to call at 9:30 to find out what why they were late. Told they were "held up" but that they were leaving shortly. They arrived from their facility, 3.5 mi away, an hour later. There were 3 movers, one who obviously did not want to be there. They were told to put all boxes marked bedrooms and kitchen in those respective rooms; they did not. I spent 2 days digging through the stacks of boxes in the living room for my cookware and dishes. A heavy buffet table was put into the storage unit on it's side; there was enough room to put it right-side up. The storage unit was left with the door wide open, when they were done. They took an hour lunch break and charged me for 30 minutes of it. No satisfaction when I called to complain. No apologies.

When the two gentlemen arrived to perform the move, they knew immediately that they hadn't brought enough truck. I told them at the outset that their primary focus should be on larger items, those that I could not fit into my SUV (dressers, beds, and the aquariums). After they filled the truck with a ton of bins and boxes, and some larger items, they asked me if I would rather have my bed or two of my aquariums moved. The bed won. At the 8 hour mark (estimate and quote were 8-10) they finished unloading the truck, and were ready to head out. My wife spoke to them and convinced them to make another run, to pick up dressers, a chest freezer, two kitchen tables. They didn't take it all, and were anxious to be done with us by the end of the run, which was obvious.
Not happy.

Movers were very slow and unprofessional. Major storm was coming and they said they weren't in a hurry because they had 5 hours to move us. Couldn't get washer or dryer out of basement. (We had to hire another company to do it and they got the items out in 10 minutes). Trashed hallway walls getting eliptical out of bedroom. Couldn't get queen bedframe apart (said didn't have tools). My husband did the next day with no special tools and no problem. Moved us in the pouring rain; upholstered furniture was wet. Asked for credit because of all these problems and mover said General Manager would be in touch with me. Chris (from Milwaukee office), won't return calls. Also didn't call buyer who they also promised a credit to because of damage. Horrible experience!!!

Both times we used them we did not have to tell them twice what we needed moved. They always double checked that everything was to our satisfaction and super polite.

Our movers arrived on time. They were very helpful as I was not present and the pick up but I wrote notes on everything. The movers noticed things that my husband accidentally over looked. Great job!
