This is what we have discovered after the move. (1) Bed frame damaged back bedroom. Possibly beyond repair. The movers put it together in error causing damage (2) Scratches and pieces of wood mission from antique furniture. Overall movers' attitude was good. Lead mover said he would come in with pen to fix scratches but he never did. So in summary while the move went ok and movers attitude was good, just too many scratches to furniture and brass bed frame may be un-fixable.

We had two very different experiences with the two crews. The crew from the move on 9/28 was FANTASTIC. They were so careful with our things, wrapped everything, etc. I could not say enough wonderful things about them. The clean up move crew on Tuesday, 10/1, would actually cause me to never use you all again. They were nice guys, but didn't wrap a single piece of furniture or my doorways. They commented on how some of my furniture was weak to begin with, stacked things on the truck like tables and such without any padding between them. They didn't even remove the shelves from my bookcases, so when they moved it into the home, the shelves all fell out as they were taking it in. I even had to ask them to be more carful at one point because they were banging into my woodwork and the walls.

Movers were polite and efficient, but had ZERO knowledge of how to take apart or re-assemble furniture. They also did not have the right tools. Taking apart nuts and bolts with standard pliers? Ever hear of wrenchs or a socket set? The first five minute they were there they broke a headboard because they did tno have the right tools and no kowldge of how to disassemble a bed frame. 4 bolts...thats it. Screwed it up. We had replaced EVERY mojor appliance in our house in the year or 2 prior to the move. There is not one piece of furniture or appliance that does not have a significant scar, scratch or huge dent or notch. Brand new washer and dryer, slightly over a year old...HUGE dent in the front of the washer and big chunk of enamel off the dryer. It only gets worse.

We used two moved on 9/20 to unload our uHaul and they did a decent job. We asked for them again on 9/21 to move our furniture out of the house we sold to our new home. The amount of damage that was done to the home and belongings was unreal. I could not get anyone from the office to return my text on 9/21-9/23. I had to call up to the office, got the voicemail and finally someone called me back. We submitted a claim and a guy came out on 9/27 to fix what he could. The office has not addressed the over 1k toolbox, the damage to sheetrock in prior home or bamboo threshold that was messed up.

This experience was terrible. I used this company before to put some items in storage and it went well. Moving a whole house is clearly above their expertise. Boxes not labeled. Whole rooms left unpacked and not moved. Supplies left behind for me to discard or recycle. Some items underwrapped and some items overwrapped. Too soon tell how much breakage occurred.

The movers had a less than acceptable attitude. Basically just threw things on the truck at the first pickup & had to repack at the Harriman pickup. Scratched several pieces of furniture especially the leather chair, sofa & love seat. Propped pictures in front of a gas fireplace that had the pilot light on & left 2 pieces of heavy furniture sitting on electrical cords. Still have not been able to move them to see if cords are damaged & need replacing. Used the Knoxville franchise in the past & were happy with them. Would not recommend this Nashville franchise. Movers sent our daughter an audio text calling us names & in general sounding like jerks. She will go by the office today to see management.

The two guys who came to handle our move I feel wasted a lot of time in order to charge as much as possible for this move. We were charged for 7.5 hours when it should not have taken that many hour considering we packed every box and there was minimal furniture to move. We had a few glasses broken in one box and when I called the company to report this the girl I spoke with hung up the phone because I assume she did not like what I was saying. I called back and spoke with a male employee and explained to him what happened but he seemed to not care and condoned the behavior of the employee. That made it clear that I will never use this company again and would not recommend.

All good until got to final destination. Had a broken antique china cabinet. One mover said bungee broke, another said not strapped in, and other worker cut cord with knife. Poor follow-up and unresolved claim to date.

At first, I thought that a good job had been done with our packing. However, as we have unpacked, we have found out that very poor choices were made. Worst being sharp knives from the kitchen being dumped in the bottom of a box with no packing/padding and that box (unmarked) being left in my 8 year old’s room. It was one of two boxes with bare sharp blades. The movers damaged a door on the day of the move and damaged the wall at the apartment I was moving out of. Also, the move took nearly twice as long as estimated. All in all, though the staff was nice, it wasn’t a good experience.

The guys worked hard on a hot day, they dented the wall in a spot that we had to repair / repaint.
