Neither of the movers wore face coverings to combat the spread of Covid-19.
They loaded a 125 year old dining room table FACE-DOWN in the truck without a blanket and destroyed the finish of the top of the table.
Even if the table can be restored, it will require removing the patina and destroy the value of the piece of furniture.

We sincerely apologize for your damaged table. We encourage you to continue to work with our claims department so that we can help resolve the matter. We have provided hand sanitizer and masks to every employee, but since we had some Movers state that the masks were inhibiting breathing during strenuous activity, we require that they practice social distancing at a minimum to help keep our customers safe.

Was disappointed with the move. A few items ended up damaged after the move and boxes were definitely not handled with care. Also, when we arrived at the storage unit to unload, they said multiple times it wouldn’t fit. Needless to say, all they did was unload the truck while I packed the storage unit. Everything fit and I was very unhappy having to do it while also paying so much for the move.
