Steve
Movers wrapped pieces I asked them not to. They mishandled my bed frame attempting to move it as one piece instead of taking it apart. They gave up on moving the sofa into my new home and attempted to leave it in the garage. Thankfully a supervisor showed up and helped them move it inside. Items were placed randomly and without care in the new home.

The guys worked hard; I had 3 and one was ill at the beginning of the day. They sent a replacement out quickly and they stayed on track. There were several times when a "team leader" came out to check on the progress and ensure things were going smoothly, which I appreciated.
The only snag was when they determined that a cabinet/hutch that was located in the upstairs loft was not going to be able to be moved down the stairs. They had no experience or means of lowering it over the stair railing with ropes/straps, and when I asked if they could refer me to someone who would do that, they called the office and told me the office knew of no one who could do that type of job. That was frustrating, and I'm still trying to figure out how to get that piece moved.

I was pleasantly surprised when the driver called and let me know he was minuets away They arrived and immediately started shrink wrapping the furniture, then started organizing how it would be loaded. They worked fast and didn't waste time. They arrived at the destination and we explained that we still had to move it again to Texas end of the year. They suggested that we leave the shrink wrap on the furniture for a safer move to Texas. They acted like they really cared.. Linda
