Office staff were very helpful in answering my questions and alleviating any moving day fears I had. Day of move, the two movers showed up right on time. They packed my furniture in padding and loaded into the teuck with care. Items were strapped in teuck to protect them. It was clear from the minute they dtarted that this was more than just two men, they were professional movers and knew what they were doing. They were careful to not bump walls and avoid low hanging light fixtures. The moving process went very quickly and smoothly. This professional and careful experience was worth every penny. My almost 50 brother and almost 70 year old dad offered to rent a truck and help me move to save me money, but I felt hospital copays for back surgery and lost wages for recovery would cost more.

The movers, Trevor and Hardy, were courteous and professional. They went above and beyond what I expected them to do for their job and even moved a dresser up to my 3rd floor apartment then moved it back down when I decided there was not enough room in my apartment to keep it. And they did it without complaining. Also, Trevor measured a bookcase for me to make sure it would fit in my apartment. Overall, they were accommodating and perfect gentlemen.

Emily in the office was extremely helpful in explaining what my options were, and I loved the flexibility of services offered. The movers were awesome. The team lead hustled like nothing I have ever seen. He made sure that no time was wasted and that care was taken for my furniture. Really liked the staff and the flexibility of services available to make the move affordable for me.

The rating I’m giving has several factors. First the truck they sent was too small, so we waited for a second truck. My estimated cost was way off, it ended up being way more than they said. Some of my items were damaged in the move, scratched, dented. I had three men, which should have knocked it out quickly, since everything was ready to be moved, but they were young and inexperienced and it took them way too long to load and unload. I’ve used two men and a truck before, and they did a great job so I know the difference in a good move and a bad move. They did get everything to my new house, so the move was acceptable, just not to the standard I expected.

You were informed by the manager, Emily, that the move would go up in cost, you would not be charged for the extra truck, just the time it took to load and unload. We also took off the hour of time it took to pick up and deliver the truck from your bill. You understood and let us know you just needed everything out of the house and moved that day. We feel as though we did everything to find a solution to needing an extra truck, and getting that truck out to your job in a timely manner. All of our trucks are 26' box trucks, so the size wouldn't have factored into the estimate being off. Please call our office at 228-284-1736, if you would like to further discuss your move.
