My moving time was changed three times. The last change I was not told till the day before. One of the movers had very bad body order. A part to my sewing machine table was lost. I was told all furniture would be covered and padded. It was not and some were antiques. The hand dolly left marks on several pieces. Guess it is what it is.

First two man team damaged the jamb around the door going to the basement. They did not cover the jamb and the couch legs scraped the jamb badly. After I removed the legs on the couch the second two man team came the next day and moved the couch to the basement. The second team covered the jamb. The scrape was repaired and re-painted a couple of days later.

Worried that your workers will hurt themselves for lifting. Hope you have body mechanics class for them. Workers only had one little dolly to move stuff had to borrow moving cart from the building. You should provide this to safeguard workers

The only problem was they backed into my car causing a lot of damage. I agreed to settle for a discount in the overall moving price but I wonder if that was really the right thing to do....

We had black handprints on our white furniture, nick out of oak dresser, & gouge in hard wood floor- granted that some of our pieces were heavy: but that's why we hired a professional team instead of our nephews, wish we had paid them instead. Sorry, can't recommend your service.

The move was pretty good. Rowland is an extremely hardworking guy. I was disappointed that the two legs were snapped off our brand new dining room table. I was told I needed to call the office about it. I would think that they would call me. It will be 4-6 weeks before i can get the legs. Eating off off a folding table for that long does not make me happy.

There is just one matter that hasn't been addressed by the company that came to correct two different repair jobs.
That is, a lamp which has a small crack in the base where it is joined by a metal piece.
Would appreciate hearing from them again regarding this.

I now have 2 scratches on my twin bed that was at American House.

This was not a good experience. Came across many broken and scratched items. They were slow and didn’t seem motivated. I will never use this service again. I spent $2600.00 for this and expected my experience to be like my recent move from a home into storage. Same company. I had also requested the same guys from the first move and was told that they could be at the second move from my storage unit to my home. It was just so frustrating. The movers asked repetitive questions and I felt that I couldn’t walk away for one second. I will never ever use this service again. I spent over $5000 to have 3 out of my 4 flat screen TVs/monitors not working. One scratched antique dresser. Broken lamps and a vase. It was explained that it was a time consuming, so after 8 hours of moving, I declined.
