Sarah - D Allen and Bell did made my moving experience exceptional. I have had two very poor experiences with other companies throughout the city of Chicago so my expectations were not very high for my third move. I was blown away. They arrived right on time, with positive attitudes and a steady work flow, and made my move an absolute breeze. Even prior to moving day, the people I spoke to to plan my move went out of their way to answer all questions I had and broke down their pricing up front for me so I understood exactly what my money was paying for. I would definitely recommend Two Men to a friend and would use them again!

I paid almost $2,000 for a moving service experience that was worth no more more than a few hundred dollars. I’ve moved from multiple times in Chicago and New York and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I am extremely disappointed in this service. First, we were not quoted or properly set up for the move - logistics, truck size, etc. then one of the movers was afraid to carry things down the stairs and the other mover was lazy. One guy busted his tail off along with my husband - yet we forked our a hefty payment. Move went quotes 6hr to 14hrs for a 3 bedroom /1floor condo. They had to send in another truck.

We moved furniture and boxes to a storage facility. The movers called 20 minutes before arriving to say they were on the way. They explained the process first and then reviewed what we wanted to be moved. Then they were off and running. They stopped to ask questions when needed and asked me to review each room to make sure they got everything. They were careful with the boxes (no ropes holding 5 boxes together on their backs and squishing the edges of the boxes as I have seen other companies do). They worked in 90-degree weather and I had to make them stop to take water breaks. They were friendly and courteous. I will call the Des Plaines office again to request the same guys!

I had 2 moves scheduled in a couple days - 1st one for Friday, 5/25 between 1 - 3, Was contacted that morning & advised it would be 'closer to 3pm' due to 'attendance issue' that am. Acceptable. But they didn't show up until close to 5:30 pm! That was not acceptable! The crew was great, but the scheduling logistics that day were Horrendous!

You should be proud of your movers staff. Thank you for making sure all of my stuff got to my new house even with me messing everything up in the process

Bobbie moved me and he was so great! He was so helpful and kind and mAde my stressful moving situation way more fun! I will ask for Bobbie next time I use two men and a truck!!

Moving team was timely and took care of things very efficiently, very satisfied.

My movers showed up hours late, however the office team kept me well informed throughout the day as I waited. The guys showed up and got straight to work! They were extremely pleasant and I was very pleased considering the late move. I would definitely recommend this company and would ask for the same guys!

Everything was done well. The only negative was that the Crew was busy with the job before us, that was bigger than the was planned for, resulting in the crew being 1.5 hours late to start with us. We were never informed of the lateness and multiple calls to the logistic manager were never returned.
