I have always been very satisfied with this moving company although this time I was doing it by myself and got so involved with the paper work that I forgot to tell the men to pick up my chair....came back the next day and got it... would still highly recommend 2Men&aTruck....

Riley and Ivan were great! We will ask for them again because they were competent, efficient and friendly. We appreciate the specialized service 2 Men and a Truck provides. We hired for unloading our own truck and it was a great help.

I went to visit my aging mother (from a long distance away) and needed immediate assistance to help her move to assisted living. They accomadated me on their schedule to enable me to move her to a safer domain.

the crew I had in Tolono were decent - 2 of the guys were great, the manager would rather stand around and talk part of the time and also gave me some attitude about moving the last few items because he didn't want to have to disassemble them to move them up stairs. The crew I had in Normal, IL was EXCELLENT! They were extremely efficient and professional.

I had two gentlemen by the name of Adam and Riley as my movers. They were both fantastic. They explained everything I needed to know before and after my move, they took great care with my items, and finished the entire process in great time. G

The young men were very polite and careful with the move. They were well trained and conscientious.

The day we moved there were 4 movers. Aleks and Grady were great but Grady had a knee injury when she arrived and it greatly affected her abilities. Regarding the other two movers, one had a great attitude but was pretty reckless and the other disappeared at times and didn't move with any urgency at all.

The process unfolded essentially "as expected" for the most part. There were some areas of concern. First, it wasn't explicitly clear that items without a lid could not be moved -- even though the move was less than 1 mile. While the pre-move letter encouraged boxing all items, it didn't say you WOULD NOT move an item without a lid. That was disappointing. Secondly, the second truck was too small. It needed to be same size as the first truck. We ended up having to find a pickup truck to do 6 loads ourselves b/c the second truck was full and we couldn't fit in all of our items. Finally, I though the energy level of the team flagged significantly in the afternoon...the pace slowed...and the hours dragged on...ending up in total hours at almost 10.

The movers were more than two hours late to my appointment, otherwise I had a good experience.
