The last time we used Two Men and a Truck, we had a great experience. However, this time was not as positive. The critiques I have for the moving team are:

1) Speed up. The two movers moved much more slowly than I expected them to, and seemed to be running out the clock a bit, which resulted in extra moving time beyond my estimate.
2) Be more careful with furniture. I heard furniture bumping walls regularly, and it appears that once my mattress was placed in the struck, it was slid across the floor. There are large splinters in one side of the mattress from this.

The move was scheduled at our convenience and info shared by office and online was easy to understand. We liked the movers a lot, Maxwell and Darius were courteous, very accommodating with respect to things I had overlooked in my estimate, hardworking, and they communicated well with us. I wish they would have used teamwork with more of our items. Many times it appeared one person would be moving more than they could safely manage, and that an appropriate level of care was not being taken. That said, only one item was found to have damage of consequence (which we did not notice until the day after the move - it was the casted base to a glass top table).

The movers had a great attitude and very nice. However, they broke my most valued piece of furniture. I think the guys got tired and got careless. My dining room set is ruined. Not happy with the repair. Will not recommend your company.

Threatened to cancel our move with half our stuff loaded, effectively stranding us, because one of the guys said he was bitten by bugs (in the Alabama summer in the country). When moving resumed hours later (with no actual bugs ever seen), the SAME MOVER fell and "broke his ankle," insisting his girlfriend take him to the emergency room "so he could get some Percocet." Really, PERCOCET! After elevating his ankle for about five minutes, he miraculously recovered and came inside to joke around with the other guys until his girlfriend arrived. Also, they broke a bunch of our stuff (bookcase, piano, an entire box of China, an antique end table). When we called to ask for a reduced rate considering all the drama, they told us if we didn't pay in full we "be in small claims court tomorrow."

Workers were respectful and had good attitudes. My only issue was the care for specific pieces of furniture. They didn't seem they should have wrapped some of the pieces they didn't. We will not know if there is any damage until we get it out of storage.

Everything was great except I think one of the movers stole my sunglasses from my house

The office staff failed to put our move on the calendar even though I checked with them to make sure we were scheduled. After I called to inquire where they were, they were able to get our move started that day. Because they did not start on time and didn't have the person available to move a piano, our move was scheduled over 2 days and I believe that I paid more because of this. I was given a 5% discount for our trouble, but 5% was more insulting than if they didn't do anything.

On the other hand, the gentlemen moving us were wonderful. They had great attitudes and were very respectful and cheery! I enjoyed having them around. (Even though they did ding some moldings on door frames.)

Did great job> only problem was they hit my wall in one place with furniture and burst a small place in sheetrock. lady from office was told about it and said someone would call me in 2 days about it but never did. I purchased your insurance that i thought covered this.

They need to tell you how long you have to make a claim. Damage done on three pieces and didn't have much to move. Careless.

Move was good but had some wall damage and no one has yet come to repair damage done when furniture was moved upstairs.
