Meet Gary! As a team member of our Detroit Franchise, Gary brings his bright personality to work each day. He is dedicated to getting the job done by exceeding all his customers' expectations by showing his moving skills. Gary has a natural ability to bring out the best side of all his coworkers and everyone around him. We are lucky to have a positive guy like Gary on our team here in Detroit.

Meet your Mover of the Year for 2026, Melvin!

Melvin has been a part of our team for 13 years and continues to show growth each year. He is a remodel to all of our new employees and is a true representation of what TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is all about.
From starting out as a mover then moving up to a Driver, and now Melvin is our team lead. Melvin takes pride in training our new movers in the proper techniques and skills to ensure the best possible move experience possible. We are so glad to have Melvin in our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Family.

Dan is our lovable move consultant who joined the team in January 2022. He brings his bright smile and funny personality to work with him each and every day. Dan is willing to help find a solution to any problem that may arise and does it with great confidence. He is a man filled with many jokes and loves to share them with his team. Dan enjoys playing in his band as the best base player (with our move consultant-Jackie as lead singer!) in his free time! If you happen to see Dan out and about, you'll know just what we are talking about with is contagious smile.

On his 18th Birthday, David joined the family business at the Macomb County franchise. He worked his way through the ranks as mover, driver, team lead, and eventually Operations Manager. He oversees all operations through our Detroit franchise! You can usually find David lending his teams a helping hand. When he is not working, he enjoys time with his beautiful wife, 2 sons and his daughter. David's family just welcomed a new puppy to the bunch and it has been a joy for them each and every day.

Keene has been in the TMT system since 2016. He started on the west side of the state and when he moved back home, he came to join our team. He started in Macomb and quickly climbed the ranks with his experience and hardworking demeanor. Keene has made such an impact at our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise, with his everyday bubbly personality, true care for the company and his extremely amazing work ethic. He has proven himself time and time again, which is why he has been promoted to the General Manager of our Detroit Location! Way to go Keene!

Dave recently promoted his title from Operations Manager to Franchisee after working with family for over 7 years in our Macomb County franchise. Keeping the family owned business tradition going, he decided along with his sister to acquire the Detroit franchise in addition to the other location. With over 20 years experience managing large teams in the construction industry, he is a great leader to our crews. He enjoys being an active part of day to day operations and works closely with our teams. Dave has been married for over 20 years to his beautiful wife, Maria, and has 3 wonderful children

Lisa has been in the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system for over 30 years. She and her mother opened the Macomb County franchise in 1991. When Lisa's brother joined the team, they knew they were looking at expansion. With those 30 years of successful service in Macomb County, they decided to acquire the Detroit franchise. Although it is a new territory for her, Lisa is very excited about our future and involvement in the rebirth of Detroit!

Theo joined our team in June 2021 and has been a ball of energy every morning for us. He loves bumping to pump-you-up music to get him going before each job!

Meet the face behind all the marketing... Alyssa!
Since joining our team back in September 2022, Alyssa has taken over all of the marketing for our three locations; Detroit, Macomb and Shelby twp. She came from the hospitality industry but wanted to explore her Marketing degree. Alyssa's task includes running our websites, planning and attending all of our charity events, networking, and she runs all of our social media platforms...so go give them a like & follow. When Alyssa isn't at work, she spends most of her time playing sports with friends or hanging out with her new puppy, Brew.

Say hello to Shayna! Being the third generation to help run our family-owned and operated franchise, Shayna is a great representation of what we are all about. She began 15 years ago as a customer service representative and quickly advanced to become our in-house consultant and marketer. Today, Shayna is now our office manager and leads her team to achieve great things each day. Her hard work and dedication to this company is never overlooked and greatly appreciated. When Shayna isn't busy at work, she spends her time with friends, doing yoga and playing with her cute dog!

Meet Kayode!
His manager would describe him as "kind, hardworking, easy to get along with, a talented guy". Kayode is a Driver here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Detroit and each day he brings a positive and hardworking attitude. Although Kayode is very skilled in the moving industry, it isn't the only skill he has. Kayode enjoys playing his guitar and working on cars once he is off work. His skills and hidden talents just continue to surprise us!
