Meet Our Des Moines team

Justin joined the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system in June 2008, starting as a driver before working his way up to General Manager. After gaining invaluable experience, he took the next step in his career by purchasing his first franchise in 2013. Passionate about fostering growth, he is dedicated to helping employees reach their full potential and creating career opportunities through the company's expansion.

Justin is married to his high school sweetheart, Jill, and together they have two wonderful children. In his free time, he loves spending time outdoors with family and friends. An avid sportsman, he enjoys cycling, running, competing in triathlons, fishing, and hunting—especially duck hunting, which is his true passion.

Tyler began his career with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in the spring of 2010 as a driver for the Cedar Rapids, IA franchise. Starting at an entry-level position, he quickly advanced to General Manager, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the business.
Seeking further growth, Tyler moved to Tulsa, OK, in 2014 to take on the role of General Manager for a larger franchise, where he expanded his leadership skills and industry expertise. In the spring of 2015, he took the next big step in his career, relocating to Omaha, NE, to become a Franchisee for the first time. Through dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, Tyler has thrived in his role and now serves as a partner overseeing 12+ franchises within the Elevated Opportunity Group of TMT.

Outside of work, Tyler cherishes time with his family, including his two sons, Toby and Greyson Whalen, stepdaughter Addison, and wife, Chelsey. Together, they enjoy attending their children's sporting events, wakeboarding, fishing, and traveling to new destinations.

Shannon began her career at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® 10+ years ago as a Risk and Safety Specialist, quickly making a name for herself through dedication and hard work. Her drive and leadership skills propelled her forward, ultimately earning her the role of Chief Operating Officer for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® portfolio within Elevated Opportunity Group. Passionate about leadership development, Shannon has a keen eye for identifying talent and nurturing individuals into successful leaders. Her commitment to fostering a culture of growth and empowerment has not only helped individuals reach their full potential but has also played a key role in the overall success and expansion of TMT Elevated Opportunity Group.

Outside of work, Shannon cherishes time with her family and loves being outdoors, especially when traveling back to Michigan to visit loved ones. She enjoys fishing, outdoor adventures, and unwinding at country music concerts.

Marrissia joined the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® family in February 2022. In her current role, she strives to make a positive impact on employees' lives while embracing every opportunity for personal growth. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her four boys at the local jump park and discovering new restaurants in the area.

Christie began her journey with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in May 2001 as a receptionist and quickly transitioned into Human Resources and Risk Management. She loves being part of an incredible team, fostering a safe, fun, and family-like work environment. Helping employees grow and advance their careers within the company is especially fulfilling for her.

Outside of work, Christie enjoys cake decorating, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and spending quality time with family and friends!

Dan became Chief Financial Officer of the Elevated team in October 2021, following his tenure at the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® corporate office, where he worked as an accounting support specialist. With more than 16 years of accounting experience, he now oversees the financial operations of 15 companies, including our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® and TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® locations.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Dan cherishes time with his children and five grandchildren. During the summer, you can find him outside in the garden.

Sharon started with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Urbandale in September of 2013. As a Customer Service Representative she works with part of the amazing team in Urbandale to assist customers and schedule moves. She says she knows how lucky she is to work for a company that puts customer service first! In her spare time Sharon enjoys spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors and watching birds.

Joe has been employed with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® since 2002, Manager since 2004. Joe enjoys being part of a team, and always strives work together with the crew to be the best possible. Joe has many years of experience in the moving industry and enjoys helping employees and customers. He spends his free time with family and playing or watching sports.

Bryan started with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Des Moines in 2006 as a mover. He was promoted to Training and Safety Coordinator and now Assistant Operations Manager and his duties include, but are not limited to: keeping the fleet informed about DOT policies and best practices, training and retention of crew-members. His favorite thing about his job is that the Des Moines location is such a special place that encourages and rewards people doing their best work. He also really likes training new team-members and introducing them to a workplace that will make them feel good about themselves, while returning visible results for their hard work. In his free time, Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, camping, mushroom hunting and doing nearly anything outdoors.

Kontá has been with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® since May of 2008. From the beginning, he saw the opportunity of leadership within the company. He started as a driver, was then promoted to a trainer, and then became Operations Assistant in 2018. Kontá keeps communications smooth between the office and the movers on the truck. As a Michigan native, he enjoys watching his Wolverines and spending time with friends and family!

Sue has been working with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® since March 2, 2006 as a Customer Service Representative. She enjoys the open atmosphere where it is not just a team environment, but a teaching environment. She and her coworkers work closely together sharing not just the duties of customer service but improving the process in which it is done, sharing info and tips about moves and the most effective steps in taking care of customers. In her spare time she enjoys reading, going to the gym, Tai Chi, working with the long staff and swords with her husband, and going to sporting events for her grandchildren.

Jeanne joined TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Urbandale in May of 2016 as a Customer Service Representative. She enjoys working with the wonderful team to assist customers. Jeanne spends her free going to movies, reading and spending time with her family.

Amanda joined the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team in 2017, she is a great asset and we excited to have her! She enjoys spending time with family.
