How do I know how much space I need?
Don't worry! We'll only charge you for the actual space that you use! Call us and we can help you figure it out. Then we can also send a junk specialist to assess the items and give you a FREE estimate. He'll come out ready to go so if you agree, his crew can immediately haul everything away so it's less work and time out of your day. This also allows you the flexibility to add items if you find more things as you're clearing out your space.
Does it have to be junk?
NO! Don't let the name fool you!! We are called out to remove all types of items, we haul away items way beyond what you would consider "junk." We do remove broken items and other items that we take to the landfill, but we try to minimize the amount of waste so we reuse and/or recycle whenever we can. We also work closely with charities and donation centers to help repurpose many of the items we're given that still have life in them (even if it's not with you). We will even bring you back the donation slip for the items accepted at the centers if requested. So regardless of the condition, give us a call.
Do you offer joint moving and removal services?
YES!! Depending on the amount and size of items you need to be removed, we have different options. Disposal fees with the move, moving items curbside, and/or a discounted frequent customer discount on your removal services! We can also couple internal moving services with a junk removal if you need to do some rearranging after clearing out the old items. We can also come back and do as many haul aways as you need if you need to do it in stages- there is no obligation or service/travel fee to our estimates and/or jobs.
Do you have a minimum? Are there items you don't take?
Our smallest size is 1/8th of a truck, but our truck is only 16 yards so most people can fill that up fairly easily. We take all household items (including electronics, large appliances, mattresses, and even tires!) but we cannot dispose of hazardous or medical waste; yard debris or basic garbage; or liquid-based items such as cleaners or liquid paint.
What do I need to do to prepare? How far out should I call?
NOTHING! Just give us a call and let us give you a FREE estimate. We can usually get someone to you within 24 hours, but we can also schedule up to six months in advance if you're a planner! Since we're also a moving company, we can be a one-stop-shop and take care of everything. We'll collect the items throughout your home (no need to make a pile or take everything to the curb) and charge you for what you use (yes, you can add things while we're there!). Then wave goodbye! We've done all the research to know where all the different items can go, so we'll take it from there!
