Supporting East Orlando's Community
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® East Orlando is committed to the Core Value of giving back to the community. We believe it's important to use our resources and expertise to help members of the community in which we live and work. Each spring we participate in the annual Movers for Moms® collection drive to benefit women and children residing in Harbor House of Central Florida(opens in a new window) and we conduct a fall collection campaign called Movers for Military® to collect items for veteran families across the Orlando VA Healthcare Systems(opens in a new window). We’ve also had the opportunity to provide donated moving services to Cheeriodicals(opens in a new window), an organization that partners with businesses to create team-building events in which employees assemble boxes of cheer which are then delivered to patients and families being served by local children’s or veteran’s hospitals. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® employees have delivered the "big green boxes of cheer" to patients at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children(opens in a new window) and the Orlando VA(opens in a new window) in Lake Nona. Throughout the year we also assist local charitable organizations with complimentary moving services. Movers for Moms®
One of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s core values is giving back to our community. Each year we participate in the Movers for Moms® program which is a collection campaign for local shelters that house women, children, and pets who have survived domestic abuse. As we have done in previous years, we are collecting on behalf of Help Now of Osceola, Inc. American Cancer Society
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK was privileged to provide moving services to the American Cancer Society in support of the Cattle Baron's Ball fundraiser. Sarah Carlson, American Cancer Society Development Manager, was very excited that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK wanted to give back to the community in this way. By providing complimentary moving services it helped to off-set the other costs associated with the event which helped raise funds for the Society to finish the fight against cancer. The 2019 event exceeded its collection goals with donations earmarked for pediatric cancer research.
Dress for Success Greater Orlando
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has a set of Core Values that guide us throughout the year. A very important one is giving back to our community. Many times we are able to offer complimentary moving services to 501(c)(3) organizations. We recently worked with Dress For Success Greater Orlando to provide the manpower necessary to move clothing for a sale to raise funds for their organization. Dress for Success of Greater Orlando was created to fill a critical need for interview appropriate clothing for low-income women entering the workforce. They help solve the dilemma: Without a job, how can I afford a suit? Without a suit, how can I get the job? Since they first opened their doors in May 2001, they’ve served 800-1,000 women per year in Central Florida. Their boutique is designed to help women shop for their clothing in an atmosphere of support and encouragement, helping to build their self-esteem. Regarding the complimentary moving services provided by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, new Executive Director, Pamela Grimm, had this to say,

Orlando Health - Walk for Winnie
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is proud to have been a sponsor as well as a charitable moving partner for the annual Walk for Winnie. Over $122,000 was raised in sponsorships alone in 2019 to help support the Alexander Center for Neonatology at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. Because of sponsorships from companies such as TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, Orlando Health is able to continue to provide the highest level of care for the tiniest and sickest of babies. Drew Strochak, Development Manager for Orlando Health Foundation said, "Thank you to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK for sponsoring Walk for Winnie as well as supporting us through their charity move services. Orlando Chili Cook-off
We were proud to sponsor the Orlando Chili Cook Off , which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019, by providing complimentary moving services for the event. This year's Cook Off was held at Festival Park in the Milk District on Saturday, Feb. 16. Proceeds from the event benefited the Camaraderie Foundation which provides services for Military Service members, post-9/11 Veterans and/or their family members. Zackary Rowe from Events For Change, which coordinated the event, had this to say about TWO MEN AND A TRUCK'S sponsorship, "Working with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is always fantastic! Junior Achievement of Central Florida
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK was proud to provide complimentary moving services to Junior Achievement of Central Florida for their annual JA Inspire event which was held on April 11. JA Inspire gives middle school students the opportunity to interact with volunteers from local companies to see the connection between careers and middle and high school class choices. We were happy to play a small roll in off-setting the expenses for Junior Achievement as they work to develop the career aspirations of young minds in the Orlando area.
