TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers For Moms®
One of the core values at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is giving back to the community with each franchise carrying it out on a daily basis. A major way our company gives back is through our annual cause campaign, Movers for Moms®, a collection drive starting from early Spring leading up to Mother's Day. The objective of Movers for Moms® is to provide the essential care items that most of us take for granted to mothers who are living in homeless or domestic abuse shelters. The program has gained more success every year through its many partnerships with local schools, businesses, and other organizations who assist in the collecting of the needed items.
Twin Valley Mothers of Twin Club
Twin Valley Mothers of Twins Club is a nonprofit organization located in the cities of Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Sunol in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. Twin Valley Mothers offer a variety of different services to help new and old moms in need; such as Semiannual Used Clothing and Equipment Sale, financial assistance, pregnancy pal, counseling, and more. At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we are honored to be partners with this nonprofit to help mothers of multiples, new moms with babies, and moms with older children. We are proud to call Twin Valley Mothers of Twins Club our Movers For Moms® 2020 sponsor.
Habitat For Humanity Of East Bay/Silicon Valley
Since opening, we have donated our team and trucks to countless hours of volunteer work for local charities such as Habitat for Humanity. Transforming the lives of families by building houses with affordable mortgages and rehabilitating existing ones, revitalizing neighborhoods and providing council to first-time homebuyers. We are happy to be a part of bringing Habitat's vision of "a world where everyone has a decent place to live" to life.
For our 2019 cause campaign, we chose Shepherd's Gate as the receiving beneficiary. Shepherd's Gate is a local non-profit organization who considers themselves to be a "safe haven" rather than a shelter, and an organization who knows what it takes to make a real difference in a person’s life. While providing a hot meal and a bed to sleep in for the night are among the many services they provide, this barely scratches the surface when it comes to how they are actively giving back to the community. We are proud to work with them and help their cause!
