TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Valparaiso opened in 2004 and since that time, we have completed more than 30,000 local moves in the area. We started with just two trucks and have grown quickly, and now have a staff with more than 50 years of combined experience in home and business moves. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK of Valparaiso is proud to serve Northwest Indiana with a team of dedicated, professional movers from two locations.
Professional moving services
We are licensed and insured with the Department of Transportation and the State of Indiana. We have the correct paperwork required by the state so you can have peace of mind in knowing you are protected. Our movers are background checked and drug screened. We stretch wrap and pad all of your belongings to ensure they are properly protected. We offer home protection packages where we have hardwood floor runners, banister and railing covers, door jambs, carpet shield, and mattress bags, all designed to bring the best protection for your things. We have full-size, 26 ft. trucks that are clean and equipped with the stretch wrap, padding, and dollies needed to safely move your belongings. Our goal is to exceed customers’ expectations by customizing our services to specific needs. Moving Services
Need Us to Move within Your House?
We get calls all the time with people needing help with items around the house or out to the garage while a remodeling project is being done. Getting a room cleared out for new carpeting or painting is not a problem for us! We have a 10,500 square feet storage facility that features crate storage for your belongings depending on the size of your project. Once your remodel is complete we would love to help put your items back in the proper places.
Senior moves
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Valparaiso, we follow THE GRANDMA RULE®, which is to treat each customer as you would want your Grandma to be treated. We do moves for our seniors going from one house to another house or a senior facility, and we work with each facility to ensure we are performing the move according to their regulations and time restrictions. Moving a senior to a new facility or staying in the same facility is no problem for us! We get many calls from adult children living outside of our area trying to relocate their parents locally. We can walk you through the necessary steps and make this a pleasant experience during this stressful time. Let us take care of you!

Apartment moves
We have outstanding relationships with apartment communities in the region, and you can find our literature in most of their offices! We can move small studio apartments to even four bedroom apartments on the upper floors. We have done moves in every apartment complex locally. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Valparaiso is the best bet to move you safely into or out of an apartment.
New storage facility
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has completed its new warehouse next door to our existing facility! This facility is 10,500 square feet, and will feature crate storage for your belongings. Your items will be stored in climate-controlled units and be padded and stretched wrapped for protection and the facility will be protected by security systems. Only our customers will be able to keep items here. We are now offering short term two week storage that will include all items being padded and stretch wrapped. Stop by our office for a consultation and demonstration of what we have. Limited Crown Point storage is now available. Please give us a call for rates and prices.
